The primary focus of our adult program is to help you to become emotionally stable, learn and develop recovery skills and resources, and adopt principles of recovery.
The Admissions Process
At Rolling Hills Hospital in Ada, Oklahoma we provide acute inpatient psychiatric care for adults ages 18 and older who are struggling with a number of psychiatric conditions as well as substance abuse problems. For our adult patients, we offer a chemical dependency program including detoxification, a general psychiatric program, as well as a dual diagnosis program. Through each one of these programs, it is our overall goal to evaluate and stabilize each patient’s level of functioning within the community.
Before being admitted into one of our programs our medical team will conduct extensive neuropsychological assessments of cognitive and behavioral states. This will allow the treatment team to accurately diagnose and develop individualized care protocols specific to the patient’s needs. A psychiatrist experienced in the needs of each population, leads the caring and compassionate Rolling Hills Hospital staff. Others involved with the patient’s individualized treatment program may include psychologists, nurses, licensed therapists, social workers, certified nurse aids, mental health technicians, recreational therapists and other health care professionals within the hospital setting. Each member of the health care team is highly trained and experienced in the field of behavioral health.
Included Therapies
In each program we employ a number of different therapeutic methods which includes:
- Individualized treatment planning
- Individual therapy
- Group therapy
- Family therapy
- Instructions for skills of daily living
Dual Diagnosis
Treatment is available for individuals who are experiencing a psychiatric illness compounded by an addictive disease. Clinical needs are met through a psychiatric treatment setting and are integrated with addiction treatment. This program provides safe detoxification and intensive addictive disease rehabilitation in a psychiatric environment.
Medical Detoxification
Detoxification is the process of eliminating or neutralizing toxins in the body. Medical detoxification seeks to rid the body of harmful toxins and therefore enables the body to heal itself and return to work. Rolling Hills Hospital offers medical detoxification which focuses on the safe withdrawal from alcohol and other substances while encompassing a structured clinical program.
